Wood Art – Esopus Creek Trees

Beautiful art on a piece of nature from Mt. Tremper, New York. Local artist Ray Sanford spent an entire winter alone in a log cabin at the bottom of Mount Tremper meditating, studying Tibetan Buddhism, communing with nature and animals and making beautiful and unique art with the fallen pieces of the trees around him.

This piece has carving of the trees the artist saw at Esopus Creek in the Catskill Mountains. The colors are amazing and the piece elicits the feeling of being in the woods.

Measures approx. 5 1/2″ diameter and up to  1″ deep

There is no hole in the back. It is meant to be displayed on an easel.
